Airbrush Confidential Party at the Hard Rock

11/2/06 — What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Nice slogan, but we’re not buying it. In fact, we’re sharing what happened in Vegas with you. During the SEMA show, we attended the Airbrush Confidential Party — where your hosts; Iwata Medea, Artool, Airbrush Action, Coast Airbrush, 3M, House of Kolor, and ASET came together to play host to the hottest airbrush party Vegas has ever seen. This was a great opportunity to get together and catch up with industry leaders in a fun environment. Kathy and I shared the camera throughout the night, and together we caught up with friends (some old-some new), talked shop, and had a great time.

A.D. and Kathy Cook with Gabe McCubbin from Artool and Mickey Harris.

The triple threat from Iwata Medea; Brook, Joanne and Tony.

A.D. with Ray Odet from ASET.

A.D. with Craig Fraser of Air Syndicate.

A.D. with Satoru Iwata.

A.D. with Tom Prewitt of Monster Garage fame.

Debra Mahan with Simon Evans. And wherever Debra goes, Craig’s not far behind.

Here’s Kari from ASET with Will Naemura from Iwata-Medea - party hosts and airbrush provocateurs.

Our Bartenders at the Hard Rock Hotel - boy did they ever earn their pay!

Carlos Avelar and A.D. Cook.

Wild man Dave Monnig from Coast Airbrush and A.D. Now, Dave is a man of many parties. You’ll want to attend his annual Coast Airbrush party - get the goods on that one right here.

Jon Kosmoski from House of Color flanked by Kathy Cook and Debra Mahan… and Craig’s not far behind.

Mike Lavallee from Killer Paint and his lovely apprentice Nick with A.D.

Party Animals: Ron Gibbs, Kathy Cook, Gary Glass of Medea-Artool and Robert Pascal from AirbrushTalk.com

Did I mention that we had body-painted models? We did, and they were a hit - here’s Gabe enjoying their company, and no doubt contemplating the next set of curves for the Artool product line.

Shin showing off his newest creation “Topp Gunn”. WOW!

Simon Evans enjoying the company of both of our body-painted models, Beverly painted by Shin, and Rachel painted by Pamela Shanteau. Okay, you’re probably thinking: “Why aren’t there more pics of those body painted models?” Good question! Stay tuned for an update, because we captured it all for you - the girls, the paint, the painters, the airbrushes, all on the balcony of one of the fine rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino. Yeah the whole shebang. But you have to come back for that one. We’ll dedicate a post to it and you’ll not want to miss it!
If you attended the Airbrush Confidential Party and don’t see your picture here, send it to us at the contact link on the right and we’ll add it! We’ll make you famous.

The third year for this event, sponsored by Iwata Medea, Artool, Airbrush Action, Coast Airbrush, 3M, House of Kolor, and ASET, was held on Thursday, November 1st, and featured two beautiful airbrushed ladies; Timea (pronounced ‘Tima’), shown above was airbrushed by Pamela Shanteau, and our other model Elishaba was airbrushed by Deborah Mahan. We’ll bring you shots of both models being painted, along with great pix of the Confidential Party soon, so stay tuned to AirbrushTour.
