The Lookout Roadhouse on the Historic Ortega Hwy.

Tuesday, April 25th, 2006

The Lookout Roadhouse, beautifully located on the historic Ortega Highway is Southern California’s ultimate two-wheel pit stop for great food and spectacular views. Located just a few short miles west bound and up the hill from Lake Elsinore, this small restuarant boasts of a great ride, great food, great view, great people, and lousy service (their words - not ours). They also have cold German beer and incredible ribs. Kathy and I shared a sampler platter of tasty treats, which included a taste of those ribs. They alone, are worth the visit. While the front door is somewhat hidden, The Lookout Roadhouse does have inside seating, and access to a cliff-hanging balcony overlooking the valley, making a pass through the restuarant all that much more worthwhile.
