Holy Hot Rods Batman!
Wednesday, November 1st, 2006
Batman, aka “The Caped Crusader”, was apparently inside checking out the SEMA Show; perhaps looking for crime, or possibly seeking a new ride. Either way, we were strolling the SEMA parking lot when we noticed his car innocently parked among the other cool rides of mere mortals.

Coming or going - this car is a classic slice of television history, and clearly a car ahead of it’s time.
The famed Batmobile was created by the great George Barris. You may remember that we met up with Mr. Barris, the King of Kustomizers, at the Temecula Fall Car Show & Old Time Cruise 2006 a while back. He had the Munsters Coach with him then. This time it’s the Batmobile and the Monkeys Mobile, which we’ll bring you in an upcoming post. We’re told by the people at Barris Kustom Productions that this may be the last time the Batmobile will be shown in its original, yet well preserved, condition. It, like many of Barris’ creations are being restored to their former glory (or maybe even a notch or two above). We’ll bring you more as we get it - that and the recently restored Monkeys Mobile. Hey, Hey… it’s the Monkeys - riding in style.
Cheers for now.
