Coast Airbrush Kustom Kulture Show 2006

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

Got plans for December 2nd? If you’re like a lot of airheads we’ve chatted with lately, you’re planning on being at the 5th Annual Coast Airbrush Kustom Kulture Show.

I ran into Dave Monnig from Coast Airbrush at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas recently and he expressed that everyone is welcome, so whether you’re an airhead, own a great ride; car, motorcycle or otherwise— or are just a fan, join us for great food, music, vendors, artist displays, artist demos and more! It’s priced right and priceless with no admission fee. All kustom rods and bikes are welcome. This should prove to be a great time with kustom eye candy galore.

Date: December 2nd, 2006 from 10AM to 4PM
Coast Airbrush - 312 N. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805

Batman Sighting at Project Gotham - SEMA Update

Saturday, November 4th, 2006

A couple posts back, we showed you the original Batmobile from the 1960’s TV series. Ever since, Batman has become a virtual “Where’s Waldo” of super heroes at the biggest car show going. Figures too, since there are a lot of heroes at SEMA Show. The automotive industry is full of them and a show this big is bound to have a few - both famous and infamous customizers alike are everywhere. How can anyone - super heroes or mere mortals - ever resist checking out the cars of SEMA? So we wondered… if Batman were looking for a car, where would he go? Then we found Project Gotham; once a humble Ford Explorer, and now…

… a tricked out, heavily-airbrushed rolling boom-box with nearly a hundred video monitors inside and out…

— along with a wild super hero paint job sporting tons of airbrush art. (top image and photo above courtesy CarDomain.com)

Check out the work on the front fender and driver’s door.

Hey - even heroes like to be comfortable after a long day at the battlefield. (photo above courtesy CarDomain.com)

And last, but not least, the beautiful CarDomain spokes model who took guard of the bling in the caped hero’s absence.

Click here to learn more about Project Gotham. The site is cool too, and features an interactive web experience, detailed project information, Project Gotham photo gallery, show schedule , and tons more.
