The Hooters Hot Rod Show - The Motorhead
Sunday, May 13th, 2007
The Motorhead show at the Las Vegas Hooters Hotel and Casino took place on May 11 and 12. We stopped by on Saturday to bring you some eye candy from the show - visiting AirbrushTour is kinda like being there, only without the sunburn!
The event provided for a lot of great cars, like this ‘33 Ford Tudor Sedan on display in the Arlen Ness of Las Vegas display.

It’s the baby of Dee and Carolyn Barnes from Fremont, CA. Paint was beautifully applied by Greg Barker.

Flames by Art Himal. Nice!

Also on display at the Ness booth, an ultra-hot 2007 American Ironhorse Slammer.

These bikes feature great factory paint.

Elsewhere at the show, check out this ‘46 Ford steel body 2 door sedan. A garage project with lots of niceties…

…including this hand painted mascott on the rear deck.

Bob Crellin’s airbrushed and race-ready Chevy Vega was on display… and shined bright with the help of local model Lillann Foster.

The back panels feaure airbrushed murals, usually viewed by those being passed on neck-breaking speeds.

The Hot Cole boat features some fast graphics.

Local radio station KOMP 92.3 FM had their custom airbrushed promotional truck there. This cool paint job executed by Paint Master Art and is a real attention getter.

Hot flames and burning skulls adorn the entire front of the Chevy Avalanche.

The General Lee, a George Barris creation, was on display impressing young and old kids alike. We seem to catch a lot of Barris creations in our travels and they are always popular with the crowds.

Pretty model Heather Brady sits atop a powerful V-8 trike, built by locals at Las Vegas Trikes.

Some of the coolest trikes we’ve seen are right here in Las Vegas at Las Vegas Trikes.
From trikes to bikes, Sanitarium Cycles builds a clean bike.

Sleek and fast - these guys pay attention to details all the way down to custom primary belt.
All-in-all, it was a fun show. Check out the Hooters Hotel and Casino for more upcoming events.
