Heartbreaker at SEMA
Sunday, November 4th, 2007
Iwata Medea prides themselves on working with the best. Sometimes the best means great painters. Other times it’s other things. In this case, best is fast, which brings us to this pretty lady - Leah Pruett. Ms. Pruett is fast - real fast. In fact, she drives so fast she has her own race car - The Heartbreaker - the one and only Leggitt and Pruett NFCA ‘69 Mach-1 . So needless to say, this lady knows cars. She grew up around racing. Her father, Ron Pruett, is a 12-time land speed record holder, and he started racing with her dad at age 16. Impressive. So when we spotted Leah signing autographs at the Iwata display at this year’s SEMA Show, we couldn’t resist meeting her and taking a quick pic. Then, like icing on the cake, her nostalgia nitro funny car was on display out front, so we shot it too.

Sponsored by Dickies Girl, along with a handful of sponsors known to AirbrushTour readers; House of Kolor, Iwata Medea, Coast Airbrush and Artool Products.
