1933 Henney Funeral Coach painted by Mickey Harris

Parked just outside the north hall, this 1933 Henney Funeral Coach, owned and restored by Fleet Bodyworks, was a fun find at SEMA 2007. This car was originally hand built as a custom coach, used as an ambulance or hearse. In its latest iteration it was painted by none other than airbrush master Mickey Harris

A beautiful angel covers the hood…

…while a mural depicting the conflict of heaven and hell runs down the driver’s side of the coach.

A cherub adorns the front fender.

More beautiful mural art on the passenger side.

A fitting hood ornament.

This passenger has a one way ticket to… well, you decide.

For those of you who have a morbid curiosity about the ghoulish line of Henney Funeral Coaches
visit the Coachbuilt - Henney Motor Company’s website to get the history for yourself. It’s a fascinating treat.
