Surgical Steel - a Blast from the Past

A bit of A.D. Cook nostalgia for you…

Way back in the early ’80’s, A.D. Cook designed a logo for the Phoenix, AZ-based heavy metal band called “Surgical Steel”. A.D was recently interviewed by blogger David Cotner about them and their logo. Check it out, then go watch a bit of history - the YouTube video of Surgical Steel in all their ’80’s glory.

Boyd Coddington - You Will Be Missed

We are all saddened by the passing today of legendary hot rod builder, Boyd Coddington, 63.

He was the star of Discover Channel’s American Hot Rod and was a large influence in the hot rod industry and community. He will be greatly missed.
