Iron VooDoo - Reversing The Curse

We checked in with our buddy Charlie Brechtel this week and he had some news and some cool pics for you - hey, we’re breaking news here. It’s not everyday that we Blog a burial and resurrection in the same post.
The pictures are from Beaumont, Texas - Sonny Keeton (Custom Motorcycles by Sonny), old school chopper builder and fabricator, and his son Waylon. They are part of Charlie’s new CD project - “Iron VooDoo“. The CD will include a DVD which has video of what it took to rebuild his bike and the making of the music.
It’s a voodoo story on reversing the curse on his bike going from a ‘86 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail to a Sonny Keeton extravaganza. The bike will look nowhere near its original style. Charlie took his film crew from “Water Buffalo Films” and shot everything live on location. So, patience please - in time the will be a new bike riding the highways of California, and a new tune in ‘ol Charlie’s heart. When that happens, we’ll let you know. In the meanwhile, enjoy the pics…

R.I.P., which may very well, in this case anyway, stand for “Return In Pride”.
These bikes are in grave danger of going six feet under if not for Sonny’s help.
Can you dig it? A Pan Head and a Shovel ready for rest, or in this case not… these are scheduled for salvation to be reborn and ride again.
A horse of a different color and a shovel of a different kind. This is a great example of Sonny’s handiwork ala chopper style.
Guitars, cars, motorcycles and tunes. Who could ask for more?
