Alley Rat Custom Cycles - Las Vegas

We recently stopped in on Alley Rat Custom Cycles, a cool shop in Las Vegas that specializes in building American iron customs of the two-wheel variety. With a shop full of bikes, they were busy as you can imagine, but took some time to show us their shop and roll out a couple bikes for us to shoot. We’re sharing one here, and I expect we’ll return with another post sometime soon to bring you more.

One look at this tank and you can see this beast is all about the ‘bones’.

A closer look shows us how much effort went into painting all those skulls. A healthy combination of hand brush work along with airbrush detailing was used to create beautiful results. These bones have a nice painterly quality to them and the combination brush/airbrush creates a refreshing look in the crazy world of painted skulls on bikes.

The skull theme is continued front-to-back. All-in-all… one cool bike.

These guys have a really impressive and capable shop. Click here for an insider’s view. It’s easy it be jealous of a shop like this. Not a man to sit idle, Troy, BMOC at Alley Rat, shared big plans of all that is going on there, and from what we could see, this is the place to hang. Hey, why would you ever go home?

If you’re an accomplished airhead and are looking to entertain the thought of relocating to Las Vegas, these guys are always looking for new talent to add to their repertoire. If you have a portfolio to share and think you got what it takes, contact Troy Powell at (702) 650-0728 for more information, or visit him at Alley Rat Custom Cycles, 3013 N. Rancho #409, Las Vegas, NV 89130
