Full-Time RV

Well, it’s hard to believe that we’ve been full-time RV folks for four weeks already. It was exactly four weeks ago today that we picked up the rig and made it our home. In that time, we’ve encountered record rain fall, snow and a mild ice storm. I guess time flies faster than we realize sometimes, and what fun would it be if the sun shined every day. Besides, the rain keeps us indoors and at the computers, which is great since I’m still behind on some projects that need to be finished before we depart.

We’re still taking care of last-minute details before we leave the Portland area for what will be a long journey into the great wide open in our search for America’s best automotive airbrush talent. We thought we were leaving this week, but there’s still a bit to do. We’re still waiting for license plates for the rig, and there are still a couple minor “bugs” to resolve; like that occasional smell of sulfur. It’s actual cause alludes us, but we’ll find it. I’m sure it has something to do with the charging system and/or house batteries. We want to resolve as much as we can while we’re still relatively close to home. Overall though, most everything works as we’d expect, and for the most part, we’re good to go.

Well, we’d love to stick around and chat some more, but my stomach is growling big-time. A burger sounds great, so we’re otta here for now in search of the ultimate cheeseburger – a worthy search to be sure. Until next time, stay creative.
